Since 1985, the Camel Club has been providing a safe haven for those seeking recovery from alcoholism and drug abuse in the Raleigh NC area. As a community of recovered individuals, members of the Camel Club offer understanding and fellowship, sharing their experience, strength, and hope at NA, CA, and AA meetings in Raleigh NC.

World Concepts Workshop
Sunday December 29 3:00 PM
Have you ever wondered how A.A. functions as a whole? The 12 12 & 12 Home Group will be presenting a workshop on the 12 Concepts of World Service at the Camel Club on Sunday December 29 at 3:00 PM. Area 51 Secretary Debbie A. and Former Delegate Jennifer D. will be there to provide information and answer questions you may have.
Celebrate in Style at the New Year’s Eve Dance Party Hosted by the Camel Club

Ring in the New Year at the Camel Club at our Annual Dance Party! Enjoy food, fun, and fellowship as a DJ spins your favorite tunes. The event will feature a 50/50 raffle. Gather with friends to watch the ball drop live marking a New & Sober Year to come! Camel Club Members get in free, non-members $5 at the door. Volunteers are needed. Click below to sign up.

Big Book Awakening Workshop

The Camel Club will be hosting a weekly “Overcoming Our Spiritual Malady” workshop on Wednesday evenings starting April 3. Bring your Big Book and an open mind. All other materials are provided!

While the prime objective of the Camel Club is to provide a safe place for the newcomer to share their problems and recover, Ours is also a location full of fellowship and sociability. Enjoy food, fellowship, and fun at one of the many Recovery Events in Raleigh NC held at the Camel Club. From dances and cook-offs to our golf tournament and other fundraisers, the members of the Camel Club demonstrate they “are not a glum lot”!
